2014 District 3 American Advertising Award Winners Announced

RALEIGH, NC – The District 3 American Advertising Award winners were announced on March 17, 2014. Judges chose winners from 309 online, broadcast and print entries from agencies, businesses and individuals doing business in the Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina district as well as college students. Of those entries, 20 gold ADDY Awards and 25 silver ADDY Awards were presented to professionals, 9 gold and 11 silver ADDY Awards were presented to students. Entries were judged by a 3-judge panel for their creativity, originality and strategy.

Grow, an agency from AAF-Hampton Roads took best of show honors for its digital advertising campaign for Burberry Kisses: A Google Art, Copy & Code Project.

Coastal Carolina University student, Cory McNair from AAF-Coastal Carolina took best of show honors for the packaging design for Bamboo Sake Bottle.

Judges’ Choices were awarded to Advance Auto Parts from AAF-Roanoke for Advanced Auto Parts Bathroom Posters – Life Images; Mad Monkey from AAF-Midlands for USC Playing; and Living Arts College student, Kristina Fick from AAF Raleigh-Durham for Backyard BBQ Logo.
