Congratulations to the University of Virginia who will be representing District 3 in the finals of the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) at AAF’s Admerica conference in Chicago, June 7-8. UVA won the District 3 competition in Raleigh on April 20th, competing against schools from Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. This year’s NSAC sponsor and client, Ocean Spray, provided a brief to teams across the country who put together a strategy, media budget and integrated campaign to present to judges.
After winning the District 3 competition, UVA went on to the semi-final round, placing in the top eight to secure a spot at the finals. On Friday, June 8th, the team will take on Syracuse University, Columbia College, East Tennessee State University, University of Missouri, Oral Roberts University, Montana State University, and Brigham Young University – Provo) to present their integrated campaigns to the judges at the national level. The NSAC winner will be announced on Saturday, Jun. 9th.
District 3 is very proud to have UVA representing the district at nationals again this year. In 2016, they took home the national title for the third time. Best of luck to the Wahoos!
