CHARLOTTE, NC (March 29, 2021) – District Three of the American Advertising Federation announced the American Advertising Award winners on March 29, 2021, recognizing work in the industries of advertising, marketing, public relations, photography, graphic design and related fields from agencies, businesses and individuals doing business in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina as well as college students studying for those related fields.
The judges chose winners from nearly 200 professional and student entries including interactive, broadcast and print entries. Of those entries, 13 Gold ADDY® Awards and 20 Silver ADDY® Awards were presented to professionals, and six Gold and eight Silver ADDY® Awards were presented to students. Entries were evaluated by a three-judge panel for their creativity, originality and strategy. Due to COVID-19, judging was held virtually by three out-of-market judges:
- Shea Tullos, Creative Director with Cactus in Denver, Colorado
- Julie Allard, Executive Creative Director with Gatesman in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Bill Nelson, Creative Direction with Swim Creative in Duluth, Minnesota
AAF District 3 American Advertising Awards top honors went to:
