Governor’s Message August 2014

Andrew Evans

Let me begin by thanking everyone who attended this year’s Leadership Conference in Greenville, SC, and congratulating you all on taking this step in your path to AAF success. I continue to believe that attending the Leadership Conference is the single most valuable activity we can take part in as members of our local club boards. It truly is how the small become mighty!

Let’s also heap boatloads of praise on our wonderful team of volunteers who helped pull the entire event together – especially our state governors from 2013-14: David Campbell (SC), Mike McTaggart (NC) and Chris Dodd (VA) and our host club AAF Greenville, as well as D3 Lt. Gov Corey Hudgins, Danielle Salley, Peyton Lewis, Whitney Hanna, Corey Brinkman, Elana Todt and all of our panelists, speakers, presenters and sponsors!

If you’d like copies of the presentations from the conference, please look on the D3 Google Drive, where we’re housing all kinds of cool club  resources. (And please take the online survey if you haven’t already. Your feedback will be key in planning an even better conference for next year.)

And watch for more resources coming your way from your D3 Committee Chairs, on Facebook and via the D3 website. There’s way too much going on to put in this one blog post.

As always, thank you for everything you’re doing to build your club and career.
